Troubleshooting
•
If the previous su��estions do not work, dis�onne�t the
telephone base from the telephone ja�k and �onne�t the ja�k
to a different phone. If there is no dial tone on that phone
either, the problem is in �our wirin� or telephone servi�e.
Conta�t �our telephone servi�e provider.
•
Your line �ord ma� be defe�tive. Tr� installin� a new line �ord.
I cannot dial out.
•
Tr� all the su��estions above.
•
Make sure �ou have a dial tone before dialin�. The �ordless
handset ma� take a se�ond or two to find the telephone base
and produ�e a dial tone. This is normal. Wait an extra se�ond
before dialin�.
•
Eliminate an� ba�k�round noise. Noise from a television, radio
or other applian�es ma� �ause the phone to not dial out
properl�. If �ou �annot eliminate the ba�k�round noise, tr�
mutin� the �ordless handset before dialin�, or dialin� from
another room with less ba�k�round noise.
•
If other phones in �our home are havin� the same problem,
�onta�t �our telephone servi�e provider (�har�es ma� appl�).
My cordless handset isn't performing normally.
•
Make sure �ou plu� the power �ord se�urel� into the
telephone base. Plu� the power adapter into a different,
workin� ele�tri�al outlet without a wall swit�h.
•
Move the �ordless handset �loser to the telephone base. You
ma� have moved out of ran�e.
•
Reset the telephone base. Unplu� the ele�tri�al power. Wait
for 15 se�onds, then plu� it ba�k in. Allow up to one minute
for the �ordless handset and telephone base to reset.
•
Other ele�troni� produ�ts su�h as HAM radios and other DECT
phones �an �ause interferen�e with �our �ordless phone. Tr�
installin� �our phone as far awa� as possible from these t�pes
of ele�troni� devi�es.
