BATTERY INSTALLATION

The C440 uses a 3.6Volt 600mAHr NiMH
rechargeable 3 cell (AAA Type) battery that is
included with your unit.
Handset Battery Must be Connected Before
Beginning Initial Charging
Installing and Connecting Battery
To connect battery, remove battery compart-
ment cover and connect battery pack plug
into the battery connector and replace the
battery compartment cover.
Note: The battery in the handset must be fully
charged for 12 hours before using the
telephone for the first time.
To Install a New Battery:
1. Remove battery cover
2. Install new battery
3. Connect battery pack
4. Replace battery cover
5. Charge for 12 hours
before first use
