1. In case of a lightning storm, unplug the modem
cable from the telephone jack.
2. Do not connect the modem to a digital telephone
line. A digital line will damage the modem.
The Universal Serial Bus (USB 2.0 and 1.1) ports
enable the connection of USB-equipped devices (such
as keyboards, mice, hard drives, scanners, and printers).
