assembly.
2. Enter service diagnostics and run the
Steering Motor test.
3. Does the motor turn?
9 1. Measure the voltage between the
engine control interface board J550-5
and frame ground.
2. Is the voltage +24 VDC?
10 1. Measure the voltage between the
engine control interface board J550
Pins 1, 2, 3, 4 and frame ground.
2. Is the voltage +24 VDC?

Go to step 7.
Replace in the
following order:

Replace the

If the problem is
unresolved
replace the engine
