Caution: Danger of injury !
Turn the main switch off !
Check and set the needle guard only with the sewing
machine switched off.
Standard checking
The needle guard 2 is to prevent a contact of the needle with the
hook tip.
In looping stroke position the needle should be slightly dislocated.

Check the needle guard.
Correction
–
Turn the machine in looping stroke position.
–
Adjust the needle guard by twisting the screw 1.
ATTENTION !
The needle guard must be adjusted after changing the needle bar
height, correcting the looping stroke and changing the needle size.
