Enga ge only when the v ehicle is sta tionary.
With the foot brake depressed, m ov e the
selector lever toward R. Rev erse gear is
enga ged and "R" appears in the
transm ission display .
The v ehicle begins to creep w hen the foot
brake is released. Ac celera te gently to
move.
Winter pro gramme
V
In the event of difficulties starting-off on
slippery surfac es, press button V and V is
shown in the transmission display. Tecshift
switches to a utomatic mode and the
vehicle sets off in a suitable gear.
The Winter programme is switched off by :
z pressing button V again,
z turning off the ignition.
Tecshift
In order to protect Tecshift at extremely
high clutch tem peratures, an intermittent
audible warning may sound. In such cases
depress the foot brake, select "N " and
app ly the handbrak e allowing the clutch to
cool down.
If the vehicle is sw itc hed to ma nual m ode
while winter programm e is active, the
Winter programm e is switched off.
