Door locking and unlockin g
From outside:
Pull the outside hand le to open the front
door.
remote control 3 - see page 39,
central locking system 3 - see pa ge 41,
anti-theft lock ing 3 - see pa ge 43.
From inside:
Pull the inside lev er to open the front door.
The door can be locked or unlocked by
pushing the lock button or using the central
lock ing sw itch 3 - see page 42.
To prevent the driver from being
inad vertently locked out, the front doors
cannot b e locked when they are open.

Child safety lock
The child safety lock for the sliding side
door 3 is located on its rearwa rd facing
edge.

Warnin g
Use the child safety lock whenever
child ren are occupying the rear seats 3 .
Disregard may lea d to injuries or
endanger life. Vehicle passengers should
be informed accordingly.
To eng age, turn k nob from the vertical
position: anti-clock wise for rig ht hand side
door or clockw ise for left hand side door.
Door cannot then be opened from insid e.
