Roof racks

For reasons of safety and to avoid
damaging the roof, we recommend that
you use the Vauxhall roof rack system
relea sed for your vehic le. Y our Vauxhall
Authorised Repairer w ill be hap py to
advise y ou.
Note: The front roof rack fixing points
loca ted a bove the cab area a re for
installation of the full roof rack system only
and must not be used to attach roof bars.

Towing equipment

If the v ehicle is not equip ped with a trailer
hitch, we recommend having this
retrofitted by a Vauxhall Authorised
Repairer, who will ad vise you on any
possible towed load increases. Y our
Vauxhall Authorised Repairer has
instructions on how to install the trailer
hitch and making any changes to the
vehicle that are need ed that a ffect the
cooling system or other equip ment.

For vehicles fitted with towing equipment 3
when connected to a caravan or trailer the
pitch of the audible wa rning changes upon
operating the turn signal lights. The pitch
of the aud ible wa rning w ill cha nge if the
carav an/trailer or towing vehicle turn
signal light fails.

Caravan/trailer loads
The permissib le carav an/trailer load s a re
vehicle a nd engine-dependent max imum
va lues whic h must not be exceeded. The
actual caravan/trailer load is the difference
between the ac tual gross weig ht of the
carav an/trailer and the actual c oupling
socket loa d with the ca ra van/trailer
coupled .
When the caravan/tra iler load is being
checked , therefore, only the ca ra van/trailer
wheels - and not the jock ey wheel - m ust b e
standing on the weighing apparatus.
