Centra l locki ng switc h 3
Use the central locking switch to lock or
unlock the d oors from inside the vehicle.
Press e on the switch to lock or U on the
switch to unlock.
Automat ic lock ing 3
The central lock ing sy stem can b e
activated to automatically lock the doors
as soon as a speed of ap prox imately
4 mph (6 km/h) is reached.
To activ ate
With the ignition switched on, press e on
the central lock ing switch a nd hold for
approx. 5 seconds, until audible
confirmation is heard.
To dea ctiv ate
With the ignition switched on, press U on
the central lock ing switch a nd hold for
approximately 5 seconds, until audible
confirmation is heard.
Unlocking the door
The doors are unlocked by opening any
door from inside the vehicle or b y
op erating the central locking switch.

Warning
If a rear door is opened, it will
automatically be relocked when the
vehicle reaches a speed of a pprox.
4 mph (6 km /h).
Fault
In the ev ent of a fault e.g. a utoma tic
locking d oesn't take place, ensure all the
doors hav e been properly closed. Check to
ensure that the automatic locking function
has not been deactivated inadvertently . If
this is the case, switch the ignition off and
on again a nd reactiva te the sy stem as
desc ribed previously .
If the automatic locking function still fa ils to
operate we recommend tha t you contact
y our Vauxhall Authorised Repairer.

Warnin g
If y ou decide on hav ing the system activ e
(with the doors closed) whilst driv ing, it
may become difficult for those assisting
you in gaining access to y our v ehicle in
the event of an emergency.

For certain Van models the sliding side
door and b ack door locks are isolated for
add ed security .
Whilst the front doors are loc ked and
unlocked using the remote control k ey in
the norma l way, the sliding sid e door and
bac k door can only b e opened b y ma nual
operation of the vehicle key.
