low light conditions.
NOTES:
1. PMCS checks for daylight conditions are listed below.
2. When looking through the PS-40 with objective lens cap
on, observable image has a form of two overlapping zones. It
is not a defect.

CHECKING PROCEDURE
OPERATIONAL CHECkS
Insert battery. Remove
output lens cap. Turn
the switch to the
BATTERY position.
Look for red glow of
indicator.
Turn the switch to
ON position. Look for
green glow of indica-
tor.
Close light sensor with
your finger. Look for
image in output lens.
Remove your finger
from light sensor.
Look through output
lens and wait about
10 seconds for image
disappearance.
NOT FULLY MISSION
CAPABLE IF:
Red glow absent.
Indicator green
glow absent.
Image absent.
Image present.
