Testing Signal and Battery Strength

Setting the Address, Mounting, Wiring, and Associating the
Receiver and Sensor
The following recommended test indicates signal and battery strength. It verifies
that the association process was successful and that the batteries have adequate
charge. (For more information on LEDs, see
Troubleshooting" on page
1.
Firmly press and release the Test button (S5) on the bottom of the sensor
(Figure
14).
2. View LED1, LED2, and LED3 to determine the strength of the signal. View
LED5 to determine the strength of the battery.
Note: The LEDs will turn Off after 5 seconds to conserve battery strength.
3. Record the results in your commissioning statement.
