by other Bluetooth devices using My phone's name, and specify whether to
make your Vertu phone discoverable using My phone's visibility.
Tip: Using Bluetooth may drain the device battery faster. Switch off
Bluetooth when it's not being used, to maximise battery performance.

adequate security and protection against harmful software.
A VERTU Club member can immediately use the Web service by inserting
a VERTU Club SIM card.
To use the Web service, select Menu » VERTU Club » Web from the
Home screen.
You can also view Vertu
(Vertu Web), an exclusive web site for
VERTU Club members, following one of the procedures below:
From the Home screen, select Menu » VERTU Club » Web » Home.

Using your Vertu phone
Travel application
Your Vertu phone includes the pre-installed Travel application, a helpful
tool for overseas travel. When using this application where an Internet
connection is possible, you can instantaneously get helpful and convenient
information for your trip, including world weather forecasts, real-time flight
information from major airlines, and the latest currency exchange rates.
To start the Travel application, select Menu » Additions » Collection »
Travel from the Home screen.
To use this application in an optimal way, you may allow an Internet
connection. Some SIM cards may require manual configurations, such as a
connection access point to access the Internet. Note that such settings are
not required when you are using a VERTU Club SIM card.
Travel application is provided by WorldMate Inc.
Navigation services
As a GPS solution, your Vertu phone offers the NAVITIME service when
you are in Japan, and the World Maps service (using the pre-installed
worldwide maps on the memory card) when you are travelling abroad.
NAVITIME
To use the NAVITIME service (available only in Japan), you must be a
member of VERTU Club. Before using this service, make sure that you
have inserted a VERTU Club SIM card in your Vertu phone.
Then, perform the following when you are in Japan:
1. From the Home screen, select Menu » NAVITIME or Menu » VERTU
Club » NAVITIME.
2. Select one of the service options, such as
(Transit) or
(Timetable), etc., from the top menu screen of
NAVITIME.
3. Packet connection will begin, and when the main screen of the selected
service appears, select items, specify conditions or enter necessary
information to initiate the service.
NAVITIME is provided by NAVITIME JAPAN, Co., Ltd. The VERTU Club
membership fee covers the NAVITIME service fee.
