To end the Vertu Feeds application:
To close the Vertu Feeds application and return to the Home screen, either
press the [End] key from any of the application pages, or select Hide (right
[Selection] key) from the landing page of the application.
At this time, when either of the keys is selected, you can confirm that the screen
of Vertu Feeds application is now replaced with the Home screen. However,
note that this does not completely stop the application from continuously
updating the feed contents of VERTU
the background. To completely stop the background updating as well, you need
to select Options » Disable feeds from the landing page or from the top page
of

To manually update the feed contents of all RSS channels, select Options » Update

Activate images: Select whether to download images when they are

To hide the already read contents or mark all feed contents as read, select Options

Making / receiving calls

You can make or receive a call simply following the procedure below.
To make a call:
1. Make sure that your Vertu phone is in a strong signal area and the battery
is charged fully enough. (Refer to "Status indicators" on page 19)
2. From the Home screen, press the Number keys (page 18) to enter a
phone number.
3. Press the [Send] key (page 18) to begin your call.
Tip: If the called party is the one who has already been registered in
Contacts, you can smoothly start your call just by selecting that person
from the Contacts list and then pressing the [Send] key. If you have not
changed the default configuration, you can launch the Contacts list by
just giving a short press on the [Joystick] key (Down) from the Home
screen.
Or you can also use the All calls log. The log list can be displayed just
by pressing the [Send] key from the Home screen, or if you have not
changed the default configuration, by pressing the [Joystick] key (Left).
To receive a call:
When you receive an incoming call, a call message appears on the display,
and a ringing tone is played when an incoming call alert has been enabled.
Your Vertu phone will also vibrate if you have set a vibrating alert.
1. When you have a call, select Silence (right [Selection] key) to stop the
ringing tone first.
2. To answer the call, either press the [Send] key (page 18) or press the
[Joystick] key (Centre) when you see Answer on the screen.
