Additional Configuration for Native VM Integration

Additional step required for the Native VM integration option:
1. The Exchange 2007 dialing plan must be set so that all the voice mails are in .wav
format. Only the G711 audio codec option is supported. The following figure shows
how to configure the Exchange Unified Messaging for .wav based voice mails
(instead of the WMA default):

Troubleshooting

If users experience a problem making calls to the Exchange 2007 server, make sure the
MSXML 6.0 Parser has not been deleted from the server. Without it, the speech engine
services cannot play voice prompts.
