Switching off
At the end of a programme:
Turn the programme selector to
"STOP".
The control light "End" goes out.
Press in and release the
"On/Off"-button (14).
If the dishwasher is not to be used for a
long period of time, e.g. whilst on holi-
day:
Turn off the stopcock.
Programme interruption
A wash programme is interrupted as
soon as the door is opened.
If the door is closed again the pro-
gramme will simply continue.
Warning!
Water in the dishwasher may be
hot. Danger of scalding. Only
open the door if absolutely necess-
ary and exercise caution when
doing so.
Before closing the door again hold
it for about 20 seconds in the nearly
closed position, to enable the tem-
perature in the wash cabinet to
equalise, and then shut firmly.
Switching on and off
Programme change
A programme change can be made at
any time. The newly chosen pro-
gramme starts as soon as it has been
selected. The programme starts from
where the other programme was ended.
If when changing a programme the se-
lector switch is turned past the "Stop"
position, for example from GENTLE 45°
to UNIVERSAL 55° and the selector
stays for more than 2 seconds at the
"Stop" position, the newly selected pro-
gramme starts at the beginning of its
cycle.
The same happens if the programme
selector stands for more than two sec-
onds between UNIVERSAL PLUS 55°
and ECONOMY 55°.

Removing the load

Hot crockery will chip and break
more easily.
After switching off let it cool down in
the dishwasher until it is comfortable
enough to handle, before you unload
it.
If you open the door fully after switch-
ing off, the crockery will cool down
much faster.
First unload the bottom basket, then
the upper basket and then the cut-
lery tray (if you have one) at the very
end.
This way you avoid water droplets
from the upper basket or the cutlery
tray falling on to crockery in the bot-
tom basket.
