Top Solo (17)
With this option the majority of the
water is directed only to the top and
middle spray arms in the dishwasher.
This means that the water jets are
aimed only at items in the upper basket
and cutlery tray (where fitted).
This additional option is recommended
when there is only a small amount of
crockery and cutlery to clean which fits
into the upper basket and the cutlery
tray.
N.B.
Lightly soiled plates or serving platters
can still be placed in the bottom basket
if there are large spaces between
them. Do not place dishes or bowls or
other hollow containers in the bottom
basket.
If your dishwasher has a cutlery basket
place cutlery with space around it.
In some instances adjusting the upper
basket to the lowest position can make
it easier to accommodate larger plates
in this basket.

Because smaller amounts of crockery
are being washed the amount of deter-
gent recommended by the manufacturer
can be reduced (approx. 2/3 of the total
amount for a full load). Make sure, how-
ever, when reducing the amount dis-
pensed that the cleaning result is not af-
fected.
By using the "Top Solo" option, water
and energy savings are also made.
For example in the UNIVERSAL PLUS
55° programme only 14 litres of water
and 1.0 kWh of electricity are used.
The additional Top Solo option can be
selected for all wash programmes.
Switch on the dishwasher with
"On/Off" (14) button.
Turn the Programme selector switch
(20) clockwise or anti-clockwise to
the required programme.
Within the following 30 seconds:
Press the "Top Solo" button (17).
The control lamp next to the button
lights up and the programme starts.
