A. Stitch type
Select the program number corresponding to the stitch
type you wish to sew.
There are 20 stitch types to select. Refer to the stitch
diagrams indicated on the machine and inside the front
cover.
NOTE:
Some program numbers correspond to more than one
stitch type.
Example:
Program 2 corresponds to three stitches –
5-Thread, 3-Thread Wide and Overlock-3.
Program 10 corresponds to 7 stitches –
R
Triple Cover Hem, Cover Hem Wide, Cover Hem
Narrow, Chainstitch and 3 Top Cover Stitches.
B. Program Selection Dial
Turn the program selection dial until the desired stitch
program number is shown in the program display.

What the Symbols Represent

C: Program number
D: Differential feed
E: Stitch length
F: Needle position
G: Cutting width
H: Upper knife position
I: 2-thread converter
J: Overlock cover or Sewing table
K: Presser foot
L: Needle plate setting knob
M: Chain looper thread tension
NOTE:
means the device shall be set at UP position.
means the device shall be set at DOWN position.
