18.4.2 Back Up System Maintenance

Use this screen to save your current Vantage system to the Vantage server or your computer. You can enter extra
information on the file in the Description text box.
Backup configuration allows you to back up (save) the current configuration to a file on your computer. Once
your device is configured and functioning properly, it is highly recommended that you back up your
configuration file before making configuration changes. The backup configuration file will be useful in case you
need to return to your previous settings. You should perform system backup before you upgrade Vantage
software.
The following table describes the fields in this screen.

This field displays the system backup file index number.
This field displays the system backup file name.
This field displays some extra description of the system backup file.
This field displays the date the system backup file was created.
This field displays who created the system backup file.
Select a system backup file and then click Delete to remove it from Vantage.

Type in the location of the file you want to upload in this field.
