Tapes
A pow_'r supply must b_ _attached to load or _'i_'cta tap__.
When
loading
a tape,
it takes
a f'w
seconds
f)r the cassette
tape holder/o
{)pen.
Never
apply
f)rce
_) the holder
or door
cover
as this might
result
in damage
to the
camcorder
and void
the warranty.
If the cassette tape holder does not {)pen after a f_'w seconds,
close tlm holder door
and try again. If it still does not open, turn the camcorder
off, then on again.
If tim tape does not load properly,
open the cassette tape holder door and frilly
reiz_ove tim cassette. Wait a f'w l:_inutes and reinsert it.
Closing the cassette tape holder door bef)re the holder c<m_es out _:_ay da_z_age the
camcorder.
Even when the camcorder
is turned off. a tape can still be loaded or unloaded.
After
the cassette tape holder is closed witt_ the camcorder
switched
off, tt_ough, it may
not recede. Turn
the power
on before
loading
or unloadlaig
ta_s.
When
recording,
once
tim cassette
tape
holder
door
is open,
a blank
portion
will be
recorded
on the
tape or a prevkmsly
recorded
scene
will be taped
over
regardless
of
whether
the tape holder
came
out or not.
Dew Formation
If"your camcorder
is brougilt directly from a cold place to a warm place' dew may
condense inside your camcorden on fl_e sur_ce of the head dram, and on the surfice
of th_>vich'o taD'. If"this happ_'ns, the" video tape lzaay stick to the" x'ich'o h_'ad and b_"
daiz_aged or your caizacorder may not operate
correctly Reiz_ove the tape, and wait a f'w
hours bef)re
using the caiz_corder.
Dew may f'orm in any of the f)Ilowing
situations:
When bringing the caiz_corder from a cold location to a warm location.
When placing the camcorder
in a cold roo_:_ which is then heated rapidly.
When bringing the camcorder
outdoors
f)om an air conditioned
room or car.
When placing the camcorder
in the direct path of air blowing
from an air
conditioner.
When placing the camcorder
in a humid roo_:_.
