Troubleshooting
If you're having problems
with your camcorder,
try the solutions
in this section. If the
problem
still exists, please consult your nearest authorized
RCA service center.
External
noise
and
interfi'rence
(from
a ['V a radio,
etc.) might
prevent
your
camcorder
fiom
functkming
properly.
In such
cases,
first disconnect
tim power
supply
unit (batt_,ry
or AC power
supply);
and
then
reconnect
it and proceed
as usual
fiom
the beginning.
Power
Problems
No power
is supplied.
The batt_'ry pack has not b_'_'n attach_'d correctly (s_ page, 19).
The battery pack is not charged (sc_) page 20).
The power supply has not been correctly connected
(sc_)page 22).
There is dew in camcorder.
Wait until camcorder
dries out.
The power
suddenly
goes off and does not come back on by itself.

Turn the POWER switch
OFF and then on again.
The battery
pack
has completely
discharged.
Remove
the tape
and disconnect
the power
source.

authorized
RCA service
center.
Feature
and Function
Problems
Some menus or features
are not available.
The EASY/MANUAL/AU['O
switch is set to AUTO. Set to MANUAL to access manual
ftmctions,
and tiT again.
The EASY/MANI ALiAU ['0 switch is set to EASY. Set to AUTO or MANI AL to access
the other functions,
and try again.
Vertical

when
shooting
a very
bright
object.
