Greeting Message
You can record a personalgreetingmessage of up to 2 minutes. If a
greetingmessage is not recorded,one of two pre-recordadgreetingswill be
playedwhen a call is received(p. 24),"
All messages(greetlng,incoming,etc.) are storedin digitalmemory (p. 56),
The total recording time Is about !5 minutes.
We recommendyou recorda brtef greeting mesaage (sea sample on
next page) in order to leave more time for recordingnew messages,
To record a greeting message
Press [GREETINGRECJto start
the recordingmode.
• "PressRECORD againto record
greeting" is heard.
Within 5 seconds, press
iGREETINGRECl again to record
your greeting.
• A long beep sounds.
After the long beep, talk clearly,
about 8 inches (20 cm) away
from the MIC (microphone).
• The base unit display shows
the elapsed recording time.
• If you record for over 2 minutes,
the unit will stop recording
automatically.
When finished, press 1-_"6-_.
• To check the recorded
greeting, press
IGREETINGCHECK].
• To change the message,
repeat from step 1.

To increase the volume,
