with the phone number and "----waiting

".
• The second caller's information will not be displayed when:
--you are having a conversation with the base unit while the handset is
off the base unit,
--the answeringsystem is recording someone's message, or
--a parallel connected telephone is in use.
• Please contact your telephone company for details and availability in your
area.
Automatic Security Code Setting
Whenever you place the handset on the base unit,the unitautomatically
selectsone of a millionsecuritycodes. These codes help prevent the
unauthorizeduse of your telephone line by another cordless telephone
user.
Temporary Tone Dialing
(For Rotary or Pulse Service Users)
Press _ before enteringaccess numbers which requiretone dialing.
• The dialing mode changes to tone. You can enter numbers to access an
answeringservice, electronicbanking service, etc. When you hang up,
the mode will returnto pulse.
• Access numbers entered after pressing ['_ will not be includedwhen
redialing.
How to Use the PAUSE Button
(For Analog PBX Line/Long Distance Service Users)
We recommend you press IREOIAL/PAUSE] if a pause is required for
dialing with a PBX or to access a long distance service.
Ex. Line access number (_ (PBX)
(_ I {REDIAI./PAUSE]i I Phonenumber]
• Pressing [REDIAIJPAUSEI once creates a 3.5 second pause.
This prevents misdialingwhen you redial or dial a stored number.
• Pressing [REDIAL/PAUSE)more than once increases the length of the
pause between numbers.
