• To switchto the handset while using the speakerphone:
-- If the handset is off the base unit, press IT-A-C_.
-- If on the base unit,just lift up.
• Duringa call using the handset, the call cannot be switchedto the
speakarphone by pressing{DIGITALSP-PHONEJ. T o switchto the
speakerphone, press __REMOTE EP] on the handset (p. 36),

For best performance, please note the following:
• Talk alternately with the caller in a quiet room.
• If the other party has difficultyhearingyou, press VOLUME (_ to
decrease the speaker volume.
• If the other party'svoice from the speaker cuts in/out duringa
conversation,press VOLUME [] to decrease the speaker volume.
