• A long beep sounds.
• The display will return to the stand-by
mode.
• To cancel during programming, press _ or [PROGRAM]. Start again
from step 1.
• If 3 beeps sound and the display shows "Save error", move closer to
the base unit and try again. If "Save error" is stilldisplayed, place the
handset on the base unit. Start again from step 1.
• If you are connected via a PBX, a longer flash time may be necessary to
use PBX functions (transferringa cal!, etc.). Consultyour PBX installer
for the correctsetting.

Press IFLASWCALL WAITJor [_ALL WAIT] if you hear a call-waitingtone
while talking,
• The first call is put on hold and you can answer the second call.
• To returnto the first caller, press I FLASWCALLWAI"I'J o r [CALL WAIT}
again.
• You can press _ instead of [CALL WAIT1 on the handset.
• If this function does not operate properly,the flash time (call waiting time)
may not be set correctly.Consultyour telephone company for details.
