Setting
the AV Network
The AV Network
is a system that
Mitsubishi
developed
to make it
easier
to operate
many products
with one remote
control. When the
AV Network
is connected
between
two Mitsubislhi
products,
you
can point the remote control
at one product
and it "passes"
the
remote control
command
to the other. To set up the AV Network:

I[1)Press the MENU button
on the
remote
control. The main menu
appears
on the screen.
O Press ADJUSt'
right until
Setup is highlighted.

O Use the ADJUST
left & riglht
buttons
to select "AV Network."
Use the ADJUST
up & down
buttons
to select "Active,"
"Basic," or "Off." Check the rear
terminals
of'your VCR, then
use the chart below to deter-
mine how you should set your
TV.
Press
the MENU
button
to return
to normal
TV viewing.

If your VCR has a rear
terminal
that
reads:
A/V Network
Active A/V Network
Active A/V Network
Does not have an A/V
Network
rear terminal
...and you set your VCR
to:
off
Active
...then
set your TV to:
Basic
Basic
Active
Off
If you are not sure how to set your VCR's AV Network
setting,
refer
to your VCR's owner's guide.
The AV Network
can still be used to pass remot;e control signals
even when the TV's "AV Network"
setting
is "Off."
If you do not use the AV Network
system,
set "AV Network"
to
"Off." If you don't, channel
selection
may not work correctly.
If you select either
the Active or Basic AV setting,
make sure your
Mitsubishi
VCR with an AV network
or Active AV network
connec-
tion is connected
to Input-1
and the AV network
cable is in place.
