Using
the
Active
AN
Network
Feature

This A/V Network
is a special feature
that makes
it easier
to use
your TV and your other Mitsubishi
A/V components
together.
When
you connect the A/V Network,
you can point the remote
control
at
the TV, and it will "pass" the remote
control
command
to the other
components.
Additionally,
you will gain even more benefits
if you have a
Mitsubishi
VCR equipped
for the Active A/V Network.
The Active
A/V Network
allows you to perform
many of the commonly
used
features
of your system
at the press of just one button.
This section will explain
the various
features
of the
Active A/V Network.
before
you begin
• You must
have connected
an A/V Network
cable from the Active
A/V Network
terminal
of your TV to the A/V Network
IN
terminal
of your VCR. See "TV + Mitsubishi
products
that
have
A/V Network
terminals,"
page 36.
• You must
have connected
your VCR to Input
i of your TV.
• You must
have set your TV's "A/V Network"
setting
to ".Active"
or "Basic." See "Setting
the A/V Network,"
page 58.
• Your VCR's remote control
switch (if any) should be set to
"VCR-A."
• Your VCR's video mute setting
should be turned
ON.

Quick Program
and Play commands
and the TV's PIP commands.
When using the Active A/V Network,
you should
always point your
remote
control
at your TV.
A/V Network
and Active A/V Network
are only available
with select
Mitsubishi
products.
