volume controls (VOLUME)
Press the ^ button to turn up the volume _nd the v button to
turn down the volume.
channel controls (CHANNEL)
Use the ^ button to switch to a channel with a higher number
and the v button to switch to a channel with a lower nuLmber.
(_) degauss button (DEGAUSS)
Use this button to correct color impurity.

AV reset button (AV RESET)
Press to reset all audio and video function,; to their normal
level or setting.
timer reset button (TIMER RESET)
Use this button to reset the television ordy if it appears to have
"locked up" or if it is not functioning properly. This button is
recessed into the control panel to prevent accidental usage. To
depress the button, insert a paper clip or similar object into the
hole labeled TIMER RESET and press firmly inward. The TV
turns off when you press this button. Befo::e turning the TV on
again, wait about 15 seconds until the power/program timer
indicator stops blinking.
menu button (MENU)
Use this button to display the on-screen menu system, which
contains additional instructions for special[ functions.
cancel button (CANCEL)
Use this button to cancel a channel number, to clear a channel
programmed into SuperQuickView

men: ory, and to clear the
settings of some on-screen menus.
adjust buttons (A, V, _ , b)
Use these buttons to select and adjust o::b,_creen menu items.
enter button (ENTER)
Use this button to select highlighted on-screen menu items.
color purity adjustment switches
Set these switches according to the placement and position of
your TV. (See "Adjusting the color purity' in Chapter 3).
