the Active
AV Network
Feature

This AV Network
is a special feature
that raakes
it easier to use
your TV and your other AV components

When you con-
nect the AV Network,
you can point the rernote
control
at the TV,
and it "passes"
the remote
control command
to the other
compo-
nents.
Additionally,
you gain even more benefits
ffyou have a Mitsubishi
VCR equipped
for the Active AV Network.
The Active AV Network
allows you to perform
many of the commonly
used features
of your
system
with the press of just one button.
This section
explains
the various
features
of the Active AV Net-
work.
before
you begin
You must connect
an A/V Network
cable from the At.rive A/V
Network
terminal
of your TV to the _JV Network
IN terminal
of
your VCR. See "TV+Mitsubishi
products
that have ._JV Network
terminals,"
in Chapter
2.
• You must connect your VCR to Input
1 (INPUT-l)
of your TV.
• You must set your TV_s "AV Network"
to "Active" or "Basic."
See "Setting
the AV Network,"
in Chap Ler 3.
• Set your VCR's remote
control
switch (if any) to '_VCR-A."
• Turn on your VCR's video mute setting.
The AV Network
is only available
for select Mitsubishi
compo-
nents.
