Your remote
control
has four layers:
the TV
layer, the VCR-A layer, the VCR-B layer,
and the CABLE layer. You can set up each
of 1;hese layers
to operate
a different
piece
of equipment.
Use this switch
to select the
layer you want to set up or use.

(POWER)
Use to turn
the TV on or off. When you
turn
the TV on, the power indicator
lights
in green.
(The select switch
must be set to
the TV layer.)

Use to select a channel
number
or to enter
a parental
lock code.

Press the top of the button
to change
to a
channel
with a higher
number;
press the

to turn up
the volume;

Press to view channels

programmed
into SuperQuickView
memory.

Press this button
to instantly
switch to the
channel
that you designated
as the Quick-
View channel.

viewed.

Use to select the input
source you wish to
watch:

equipment
connected

or 3.

control
(MUTE)
Use to turn the sound

or to
restore
it to its original
volume.
@ quick
program
button
(QUICK
PROG.)
Use this
button
to easily
program
your
Mitsubishi
VCR.

ton, your TV s_itches
to Input-l,
your VCR
turns on, and the VCR's "Program
to record"
menu appears.
When you are finis]bed pro-
gramming
your
VCF;, press
this
button
again;
your VCR turns off, and your TV re-
turns
to its previous
position.
If you press
this
button
while
the TV is
locked, or while using the television's; menus,
then the VCR turns
on, but the TV does not
switch inputs.
Important:
You must connect a M:tsubishi
VCR to your
TV witlh an AV Nel:work cable to use this
feature.

from the on-screen
menu system.

Use to light up the remote (for 3 seconds).

to adjust
it. Mso use
these to re-position
the picture-in-picture
(PIP) image on the screen and to highlight
items in the menus.

Use to view an on-screen
summary
of the
current
settings
for the TV or cable func-
tions and the display
related
to Extended
Data Services
(XDS). Also displays
menu
help.

Use this button
to can,:el a channel

programmed

SuperQuickView
memory,
and to clear the
settings
of some on-,_creen menus.
