Close-ups
(Macro
Mode)
Macro mode can be used for close-ups in _, o_,
_1]_, SP (?_, -_, Ifi_l), _M and A/S modes (pp. 32-
40). To select macro mode, press the selector left (_).

When macro mode is in effect, the camera focuses on subjects near the center of the monitor. Use the
zoom control to frame pictures.
To exit macro mode, press the selector left (_).
Macro mode can also be cancelled by turning the
camera off or selecting another shooting mode.
