Using the Menus: Shooting Mode

Control the camera's sensitivity to light. Higher values can be used to reduce blur when lighting
is
poor; note, however, that mottling
may appear in pictures taken at high sensitivities.
If AUTO, A UTO
(1600}, AUTO (800}, or AUTO(400} is selected, the camera will adjust sensitivity automatically
in response
to shooting
conditions.
The maximum value that will be selected by the camera at settings of AUTO
(1600}, AUTO (800}, or AUTO (400} is 1600, 800, or 400 respectively.
The options available for []
ISO vary with shooting
mode.
In I_IM and A/S modes, the options
available for []
ISO are further limited by the option selected for []
