\;Vhen macro mode is in effect, the camera focuses on subjects near the center of the frame. Use the
zoom control to compose pictures. In super macro mode, zoom can not be adjusted and the flash can
not be used.
To exit macro mode, press the selector left

until
0*-
is displayed. Macro mode can also be cancelled
by turning the camera off or in some cases by selecting another shooting mode.

• Use of a tripod is recommended to prevent blur caused by camera shake.
• Flash compensation may be required when using the flash (Owner's Manual, pg. 75).

Caution: Cancelling Macro Mode
Selecting another shooting mode does not cancel macro mode in all cases. See page 41 for more information.
