Using the Menus: Phyback Mode

TRIMMING
To create a cropped copy of a picture, play the
picture back and select []TRIMMING
in the
playback menu (pg. 76).
1 Use the zoom control to zoom in and out and
use the selector to scroll the picture until the
desired portion
is displayed (to exit to single-
frame
playback without
creating
a cropped
copy, press DISP/BACK).

If tile picture was shot with
Intelligent Face Detection (pg.
21), Eelwill be displayed in the
monitor. Pressthe Eel button
to zoom in on the selected
face.

will be displayed.

Copy size (1_]1, _'_11, I _11, or
I:_;
see page 65)
is shown at the top; if the size is l'i_'tTI,OK is
displayed in yellow. When you crop (trim) an
image, the resulting image will be enlarged.
However, the more you crop, the resulting
image quality will be reduced; all copies have
an aspect ratio of 4:3.
Press MENU/OKto save the cropped
copy to a separate file.
