Frame the picture.
Position the main subject in the focus area
and use the zoom
control
to frame the
picture in the monitor.

Hold
the camera steady
with
both
hands and
your elbows against
sides. Shaking or
unsteady hands carl blur
your shots.
To prevent pictures that
areout of focus or too dark
(underexposed),
keep
your fingers and other
objects away from tile
lens and flash.

Usefocus lock (pg. 23) to focus on subjects that are not
in the focus frame.
