Turning
the Camera
On and Off
Shooting
Mode
Pressthe ON/OFF button to turn the camera on.
The lens will extend and the lens cover will open.
PressON/OFF again to turn the camera off.
Tip:Switchingto PlaybackMode
Press the []
button to start playback. Press the shutter
button halMay to return to shooting
mode.
[M Cautions
• Forcibly preventing the lens from extending could
causedamage or product malfunction.
• Pictures carl be affected by fingerprints and other
marks on tile lens. Keep tile lens clean.
• Tile ON/OFF b utton does not completely cut power to
tile camera.
Playback
Mode
To turn the camera on and begin playback, press
the [] button for about a second.
Press the ON/OFF button to turn the camera off.
Tip: Switching t oShooting M ode
To exit to shooting mode, pressthe shutter button
halfway. Presstile []
button to return to playback.
Tip:Auto Power O ff
If no operations are performed for lOs (the default
setting), tile monitor will dim to save power. Using any
button restoresfull brightness. The camera will turn off
automatically if no operations are performed for tile
length of time selected in the AUTO POWER O FF menu (see
page gO).To turn the camera on, press the ON/OFF
button or presstile []
button for about a second.
