2. When making r epetitive cutsshorter than 6in.,clamp a
block of wood 2 in, long tothetable toactas alength
stop.Donotclamp directly to thebottom
edge of the
table
because
the "swivel"
of the clamp
will
not grip
properly.
Place
a small
block
of wood
between
the
bottom
edge of the table and the "C'" clamp.
CAUTION:
When clamping
the block,
make sure that
the end of the block is well in front of the sawblade.
Be
sure it is clamped securely.

Slide
the
workpiece
along
the
miter
gauge
until
it
touches
the block

it securely
or clamp it with
the Hold-Down
Clamp
(Optional
Accessory).
