How to Set a Delayed
Start
and Automatic
Stop
You can set the oven control to delay-start the
oven,cook for a specific length of time and then
turn off automatically.
Hake surethe clockshows the correct time of
day.

Touch the CONVECTION BAKEMULTI/1
RACK pad once (CONVECTION BAKE
MULTI mode) for multi-rack convection
baking. This mode is used for cooking food
items on more than one rack (i.e.,2, 3 or
more racks) at the same time in
convection bake. See Hulti-Rack Baking
section for more information.
Touchthe CONVECTION BAKEHULTI/
! RACKpad twice (CONVECTION B AKE
! RACK/1GRILLEmode)for one rack
convection baking. Thismode is usedfor
cooking food items on only one rack in
convection bake.
Touch the CONVECTION ROASTpad for
convection roasting.

Touch the number padsto set the desired
oventemperature.
I-_ Touch the COOKING TIHE pad.
NOTE:Ifyour reciperequirespreheating,you may
needto add additiona/time to the/ength of the
cookingtime.

Touch the number padsto set the desired
cookingtime.

Touch the DELAY STARTpad.

Touch the number pads to set the time of
dayyou want the oven to turn on and start
cooking.
If you would liketo checkthe timesyou have set,
touch the DELAYSTARTpad to checkthe start
time you have set,or touch the COOKING TIME
pad to checkthe length of cooking time you have
set.

Touch the STARTpad.
NOTE:An attention tone will sound if you are
usingtimed bakingor roasting and do not touch
the START pad after entering the bakingor
roasting temperature.
Whenthe oven turns on at the time of day you
have set,the display will show the changing
temperature (startingat IO0°F[38°C])and the
cooking time.The displaystarts changing once
the temperature reachesIO0°F(38°C).
Theovenwill continue to cook for the
programmed amount of time, then shut off
automatically, unlessthe WAR! feature was
set. Seethe How to Setthe Ovenfor Warming
section.

Touchthe CLEAR/OFF pad to clearthe display
if necessary. R emovethe foodfrom the oven.
Remember, e venthough the ovenshutsoff
automatically, f ood left in the ovenwill
continuecookingafter the oventurns off.
NOTE: When convection baking, the oven temperature will be 25°F(14°C)lower than
the set temperature. SeeAuto Recipe _"Conversion in the Special Features section for more
information. When convection roasting, oven temperature will not auto convert.
