Blade to Table for
Ripping
1. Unlock
the swive! lock and turn the motor
to the out-rip
position
with the motor be-

the blade and fence, (Figure

2. Lock swivel lock and rip lock.
3. Place the long edge of the framing square
on the table and the short edge against the
blade alongside the arbor shaft. Make sure
the square is against the surface of the blade
and not on the set of a tooth. (Figure 80)
4. Turn the blade With your hand several
times and check to see if the square is flush
with the blade.
5. If the square
is flush with the blade after
each rotation
(Figure
8 I) go to step 11, or
If there is a gap between the square and the
blade after any rotation
(Figure 81), go to
step 6.

6. Loosen the hex nut on the rear' catTiage
bearing. Use a 9/16 inch wrench to hold the
bolt and a 1/2 inch wrench to loosen the nut.
