Installing EFI Fiery Mail Port

The E-Mail Service provides a method to print and control the C9800 remotely. Jobs
are sent to the C9800 in the form of e-mail attachments. You can set up e-mail
printing on Windows computers by adding the EFI Fiery Mail Port software as a
printer port.
To set up the Fiery for e-mail printing, see Chapter 4 of the Configuration Guide. After
Setup has been performed, install the software from the Utilities CD (CD2) onto your
Windows computer, and then add a port.
Procedures are given for Windows 98/Me and Windows NT 4.0. Procedures for

O INSTALL THE E MAIL PORT MONITOR ON
1. Insert the Utilities CD (CD2) supplied with your C9800 into your CD drive.
Normally the Installer program should autorun. If it does not, navigate to the top level
directory window of the CD and run setup.exe.
2. Select Fiery Utilities.
3. Click on Install Fiery Mail Port and follow the on-screen prompts to install the mail
port to your computer.
When installation is complete, you are ready to configure the connection for the e-mail
port monitor.
