1 Connect the recording device to your
camcorder (p. 70).
2 Prepare the recording device.
• Insert a cassette for recording.
• If the recording device has an input
selector, set it to the input mode.
Prepare 3'our camcorder for playback.
• Insert the recorded cassette
• Set the POWER switch to V(R.
4 Start the playback on 3,our camcorder,
and record it on the VCR.
Refer to the operating instructions supplied
with your V(R for details.
5 When the dubbing is finished, stop
3'our camcorder and the VCR.

Note
• When you use an i.LINK cable, the recorded picture
becomes rough when a pictme is paused on your
camcorder while recording it to a VCR.
• Pictures recorded in the HDV format are not output
from the _, HDV'DV jack during playback pause or
in playback modes other than normal playback.
• When _u use an iLINK cable, you cannot record
the picture and sound separately.
"_° Tip
• The i.LINK lamp HDV o! DV, on the _ HDViDV
jack holder will light up and indicate the forlnat of
the output signal when you use an i.LINK cable
• When you use an iiINK cable, the video and smmd
signals are transmitted digitally, producing high
quality picialres
