Select to turn on the camera recording lamps on the f!ont and rear of
your camcorder &bring recording.
Select this setting in file tbllowing recording situations The camera
recording lamps on the front and rear will not light up during
recording.
• When you do not want the subject to be nervous about being
recorded
• When you are recording close to the subject
• When the subject reflects the light of the recording lamp
t>ON Select to turn on the tbnnat lamp. The lamp of the tbnnat that is
selected in [REC FORMAT] lights up when the POWER switch is set
to CAMERA. The lamp of the tbnnat that is selected in [VCR HDVi
DV] lights up when the POWER switch is set to VCR.
OFF Select when you do not want to mm on the fbnnat lamp. The i.LINK
lamp also does not light up.

• Tile format lamp lights up according to the fomm_ of the playback m of an input signal fiom
anothei device when [VCR HDV/DV] on the _,, (IN/OUT REC) menu is set to [AUTO].

You can select the rotation direction of the iris dial to open or close the iris.
t>NORMAL Select to rotate clockwise when looked at flora the lens side to close
file iris and decrease the light vohmle
OPPOSITE Select to rotate counter clockwise when looked at from the lens side
to close tile iris and decrease the light volume
Select the item to be displayed when you press DATA CODE (p. 44).
I>DATE/CAM
Select to display the date and time, or the camera settings data dining
playback.
DATE Select to display tile date and time during playback
t>NORMAL Select to display tile menu screen at normal size.
