The picture remains on the LCD screen.
• This occurs if you disconnect the DC plug or remove the hatter) pack without turning off the
pox_er first. This is not a malfunction.
You cannot turn the LCD backlight off.
• During Ep;y Handycam operation, you cannot turn the LCD hacklight on/off by pressing and
holding DISP/BATT INFO (p. 28).
You cannot turn off the indicators.
• You cannol turn olf 1_7. Touch [_ to check Ihc warning messages (p. 108).
The
buttons do not appear on the touch panel.
• Touch the LCD screen lightl 5 .
• Press DISP/BATT INFO on your camcorder (or DISPLAY on the Remote Commander)
(p. 21 ).
The buttons on the touch panel do not work correctly or do not work at all.

The picture in the viewfinder is not clear.

The cassette cannot be ejected from the compartment.
• Make sure the po_ er source (hattery pack or AC Adaptor) is connected com:ctl) (p. 15).
• Remove the battery pack from the camcorder, then attach it again (p. 16).
• Attach a charged battery pack to the camcorder (p. 15).
• Moisture condensatkm has occurred inside the camcorder (p. 119).
The Cassette Memory indicator or title display does not appear while using a
cassette with Cassette Memory.
• This camcordcr does not support Cassette Memory, so the indicator does not appear.
The remaining tape indicator is not displayed.
• Set 1[_-I REMAINING] to ION] to alx_a} s display the remaining tape indicator (p. 69).
