Tile %llowing is an example of the
procedure to ac{just tile [FOCUS] setting
manually. The procedure is the same for
other setting items.

| Set the POWER switch to
CAMERA-TAPE or CAMERA-
MEMORY.
Press the MANUAL button.
The indicator of the setting item appears
on the screen.

Rotate the CAM CTRL dial and
adjust the setting.

Press the MANUAL button again when you
want lo t'elurn lo the auto setling.
Press and hold the MANUAL
button for several seconds.
The IDIAL SET] screen appears.

Rotate the CAM CTRL dial and
select an item to be assigned.

Press the MANUAL button.
A message appears :rod you can set the
selecled ilem with the dial operation.
• Manual _ttings will be retained even if you
change an assigned ilem.
If [EXPOSUREI is set al?cr [AE SHIFT] is set
manually, [EXPOSUREI will override [AE
SHIFTI.
• If you select [RESET] in step :3, all the settings
set nlzlnually return to tile detault selling. Tile
ilem assigned m lhe CAM CTRL dial returns m
[FOCUSI.

Select the setting item from the [DIAL
SET] menu to change the item assigned to
the CAM CTRL dial (p. 57). You can also
assign the item with the lk)llowing
procedttre.
