When connecting your camcorder to the
computer, tile following operatiens are
available:
Copying tile still images on a "Memory
Stick Duo" to the computer

Copying the movie on a tape in the HDV
format to the computer

Copying the movie on a tape in tile DV
format to the computer

There are 2 ways to collllect your
camcorder to a computer:
USB cable
When copying pictures on a "Memory Stick
Duo"
i.LIN K cable
When copying pictures on a tape
Notes on connectingto a computer
• When you m'e using a USB cable or ml i.LINK
cable to connect your canlcorder to _1colnputer,
in_lke sure you ill.Z1 tile connector ill tile correct
direction. If you insert tile connector lorcibly, it
may be damaged, and cruise a malflmctkm ol
your Calllcorder.
• You cannot do tile lollowing:
Copying pictures on a tape to a computer witll
_tUSB cable.
Copying pictures on a "Memo U Stick Duo"
to a compuler wilh an bLINK cable.
• Remove the USB cable according to the correct
procedure when disconnecting il honl lhe
compuler (p. g6).

ON: Mac ON 9.1/9.2 or Mac OS X (v lO.1/x 10.21

• Olhers: USB port (This nmst be provided as
standard.)
• You can do this operation with tile standard
driver of yollr conlplllcr. Voll do not need to
instidl any soltware.
• If your computer has a Memory Stick slot, insert
file "Memo U Stick Duo" on which pictures am
recorded into the Memory Stick Duo adaptor
(optional), lhen insert il inlo lbe Memory Stick
slot on your computer to copy still inlages to tile
conlputer,
• When using a "Memo W Stick PRO Duo" and
your COlllptller is not compatible wilh il, connect
your camcorder with the USB cable inslead of
using tile Melnory Stick slot on tile computer.
