Parking
Select neutral and turn the ignition
switch t o the 'OFF' position.
Lock the steering t o help prevent
theft.
Always park on a firm, level surface
t o prevent the motorcycle from
falling.
When parking on a hill, always park
facing
uphill
to
motorcycle
from
rolling
stand. Engage first gear t o prevent
the motorcycle from moving.
On a lateral (sideways)
always park such that the incline
naturally
pushes
towards the sidestand.
Do not park on a lateral (sideways)
incline of greater than 6 O and never
park facing downhill.
