5.14 Adjusting the Sensors of the Applicator Module

Normally the sensors are adjusted by the factory. But it can be necessary to adjust the sensors e.g. after replacing
one of the sensors.

Adjusting the Sensor Turn/Lift Cylinder

The sensor checks the movement of the turn respective the lift cylinder.
PAM 3602:
Sensor (1) recognizes if the turn cylinder is in the 90°-position (away from the peel-off edge).
Sensor (2) recognizes if the turn cylinder is in the 180°-position (away from the peel-off edge).
PAM 3603:
Sensor (3) recognizes if the lift cylinder is in the position away from the peel-off edge.

1.
Switch off the compressed air.
2.
Check the integrated LED of the respective sensor.
The LED is switched on if the sensor (1, 2, 3) is adjusted correctly in his position.

If the sensor (1, 2, 3) is not adjusted correctly, loosen the screw on the sensor using a 1,2 mm allen key, slide
the sensor until the LED is switched on and tighten the screw.
4.
Move the pad manually and check if the LED is switched on and off correctly.
5.
Repeat the adjustment if necessary.
6.
Switch on the compressed air.
