MAP MODE
This mode greatly improves the C360/C280/C220's recognition of text on halftone
dot backgrounds. It can also be used when copying documents with a background
color or documents containing pencil markings or fi ne color lines. The result is much
easier-to-read text when producing maps, graphs and other documents with
background patterns and a crisper copy image.
PHOTO MODE
In Photo Mode, the C360/C280/C220 can detect whether an original is text
or a photograph and then scan it using the mode that provides the best results.
In Photo Mode, the C360/C280/C220 gives color rich gradation.
REPRODUCTION OF DENSE AND PALE COLORS
Reproduction of colors, dots and fi ne lines around the white text has been
improved Reproduction of density of pale colors is enhanced to match the original.
REPRODUCTION OF TEXT ON COLORED BACKGROUNDS
Pink and yellow backgrounds are not washed out while the text is reproduced
matching the originally.
