Password change considerations
Administrators should carefully plan and coordinate Oracle database security credential changes with
replication manager operations. For example, if the security policy in your environment is to reset
passwords every six months, consider that such changes can result in the replication manager server not
interacting with an Oracle database. This can lead to the following:
Jobs that interact with impacted databases do not validate or fail while running.
Oracle database information is not updated in the replication manager server.

Oracle tablespaces

The replication manager automatically discovers the tablespaces that are associated with an Oracle
database. These resources are displayed in the content pane and can be replicated (backed up) and
restored (recovered) using GUI actions or jobs.
The following tablespace types are supported:
Tablespace type
Permanent
Temporary
Undo
The tablespace type is displayed in the replication manager Oracle Tablespaces General tab.
