Using a PC to Update the Auto Dialer Remotely

This feature provides a convenient and an easy way to Update, Backup or Restore the One-Touch and
03005020001
Abbreviated dialing numbers right from your PC by sending a text email message to the DX-1000.
Note:
03005050002
The DX-1000 interprets the command that you enter in the "Subject" line of your email message and performs
03005070001
one of the following functions, it Retrieves or Stores data into the Auto Dialer (One-Touch and/or ABBR. No.).
The two types of commands that can be entered in the "Subject" line of your email:
1) To Store data
2) To Retrieve data: #get abbr(123456789)#
You can enter One-Touch / ABBR. No. (email addresses or dialing numbers) for the first time if the auto dialer
is empty. However, if the auto dialer contains preprogrammed email addresses or dialing numbers, you
cannot change, add to, or overwrite the preprogrammed data. Any attempt to change or overwrite will be
ignored by the DX-1000.
Preprogrammed One-Touch / ABBR. No. must be erased first with a "delete" command, which clears the
entire auto dialer, then new data is allowed to be entered. However, before deleting the auto dialer, you should
retrieve the data from the auto dialer first for backup purposes. (See example on page 56)
