This feature allows you to control the MAC Address of the Bridge as seen by
other devices on the LAN.
• Ethernet Client allows the MAC Address from the first Ethernet client
(printer, X-Box, PlayStation2, etc.) that transmits data through the bridge is
used.
• WLAN Bridge allows the MAC Address from the NXA-WAP200G to be used.
When multiple Ethernet devices are connected to the bridge, the MAC
Address of the bridge does not change.
Sets the upper fragmentation limit of the transmitted wireless data packets.
• Transmitted wireless data packets larger than this size will be fragmented to
maintain performance in noisy wireless networks.
• Default value is 2346.
Sets the upper RTS/CTS protocol limit of the transmitted wireless data packets.
• Transmitted wireless data packets larger than this size will use the RTS/CTS
protocol to maintain performance in noisy wireless networks and prevent
hidden nodes from degrading the performance.
• Default value is 2432.
Sets the amount of time in microseconds) that the radio is reserved to send
data without requiring an ACK. This technology eliminates collisions in Mixed
mode networks, as well as for pure 802.11g networks.
• The optimized value for 802.11g only networks is 1400. The optimized value
for Mixed mode networks (802.11g + 802.11b) id 650.
• Default value is 650.
Note: If the value is set to zero, bursting is disabled.
• Press the Save button to incorporate the information to the WAP200G.
• Press the Cancel button to terminate the process of altering these fields.
